TapMe.plus Gameplay Guide
TapMe.plus is built around one move: tap a number to add 1. That simple action creates the whole puzzle. The board rewards timing, target choice, and planning where the next upgraded number should land.
The core rule
When you tap a tile, its number increases by one. If that number now connects with at least two matching neighbors, the connected group merges into the tapped target tile. The target upgrades, the cleared tiles disappear, and the board begins to drop.
Connections count only in the four direct directions: up, down, left, and right. Diagonal tiles do not connect.
Why target choice matters
The merge lands on the tile you tapped. That means the same group can produce a different follow-up board depending on which tile you choose as the target. Strong moves usually do two things at once:
- create the current merge
- place the upgraded tile where it can help the next merge
Chain reactions
After a merge, tiles fall and new tiles refill the grid. If the new board creates another connected group, TapMe.plus continues the chain. Long chains are the most satisfying part of the game because one deliberate tap can reshape the whole board.
Modes
Timed mode gives each run a focused score chase. Infinite mode lets you study the board without the same pressure. Rush mode keeps the tap-to-merge rule but adds a tighter tempo, making quick decisions more important.
All modes use the same readable core rule, so skill transfers across the whole game.
First tip
Do not only tap the number that creates the fastest merge. Look one step ahead and ask where the upgraded tile should sit after the merge. That small habit turns random clears into planned chains.
